I was born in Knurow in early 80s, so quite a long time ago. I lived there till I was nearly thirty. This was a so-so place to grow up, a typical industrial, small city. Nothing breath-taking.

I completed my secondary and tertiary education in Gliwice, one of the bigger cities in Poland, some 10 kilometers from Knurow. I always were good with numbers, thus, there was no surprised when I ended studying electronics and telecommunications.

There was a bit of surprise when I decided to continue my education in PhD course, though. “A bit” is a key-word, here. And so my story began.
